Introduction
Welcome to The Pickup Pug ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our trash can curb service ("Service"). By signing up for our Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Service Description
For $5 per week , we will:
- Bring (up to 2) cans to the curb the day before garbage day.
- Return your trash cans to their designated location the day after garbage day.
Service Scheduling and Pauses
- Scheduling: The Service will be performed according to your local garbage collection schedule.
- Pauses: You may pause the Service for any weeks you do not require it. To pause the Service, please notify us at least 48 hours before your trash can collection day. You will not be charged for the weeks you pause the Service.
Payments and Fees
- Weekly Fee: The Service is provided at a rate of $5 per week.
- The $5 fee includes up to 2 cans. An additional $5 fee will be charged for each additional 2 cans.
- Billing Cycle: You will be billed weekly. Payments are due at the end of each service week.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We only accept credit and debit card payments. This policy helps streamline our operations to maintain low prices. Additionally, it ensures your payment is made securely, and is not handled by Service operators.
- Payment Security: All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways to protect your financial information.
Cancellations
- User Cancellations: You may cancel the Service at any time. To cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours before the next scheduled trach collection day. No further payments will be required after cancellation.
- Company Cancellations: If we need to cancel the Service for any reason, we will provide notice to your preferred contact method (email or phone) at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled trash can pickup day. You will not be charged for any weeks we cancel the Service.
User Responsibilities
- Ensure clear access to the trash cans for our Service providers.
- Ensure animals and pets are secured and cannot reach our Service providers during trash can pickup and return.
- Notify us of any changes to your garbage collection schedule or contact information.
Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide reliable and timely Service. However, we are not responsible for:
- Delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, road closures).
- Damage to trash cans or property unless caused by our negligence.
